PROCEEDINGS OF THE SCHOOL BOARD OF THE PARISH OF CONCORDIA, STATE OF LOUISIANA, TAKEN AT A SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY, MARCH 23, 2000

The School Board of the Parish of Concordia, State of Louisiana, met in special session at the Concordia Parish School Board Office, in Vidalia, Louisiana, on Thursday, March 23, 2000, at five thirty (5:30) o’clock p.m.  The meeting was called to order by the Honorable Mike Grantham, President, who declared after prayer by Rev. Johnnie Brown and the Pledge, that the Board was ready for the transaction of business.

Members present were the Honorable Mike Grantham, Mr. Darrell Crofford, Mr. Don Joseph, Mrs. Mary Campbell, Mr. Lynn White, Rev. Johnnie Brown and Mr. Warren Brown.

The oath of office was administered to Mr. Warren Brown by Mr. Norman Magee, Board Attorney. 

It was moved by Mr. Joseph, seconded by Rev. Brown and carried unanimously to rescind the action of March 7, 2000, reducing the compensation for Board members by $100 per month.

It was moved by Mr. Joseph, seconded by Mrs. Campbell and carried unanimously for the compensation for  Board members to remain at the current rate of $300 for members and $400 for the Board president.

It was moved by Mr. Joseph, seconded by Mr. Raven and carried unanimously to adjourn at 5:55 p.m.
