PROCEEDINGS OF THE SCHOOL BOARD OF THE PARISH OF CONCORDIA, STATE OF LOUISIANA, TAKEN AT A PUBLIC HEARING HELD ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2000

The School Board of the Parish of Concordia, State of Louisiana, met in special session at the Concordia Parish School Board Office, in Vidalia, Louisiana, on Tuesday, September 12, 2000, at five-thirty  (5:30) o’clock p.m.  The meeting was called to order by the Honorable Mike Grantham, President, who declared after prayer by Mr. Warren Brown and the Pledge, that the Board was ready for the transaction of business.

Members present were Mr. Mike Grantham, Mr. Darrell Crofford, Mr. Don Joseph, Mr. Ricky Raven, Ms. Martha Rabb, Mr. Lynn White, Mr. Warren Brown and Ms. Mary Campbell.

Member absent was Rev. Johnnie Brown.

Mr. Tom O’Neal, Director of Business Affairs, explained the summary of the detailed budget. Copies were provided to Board Members and made available for the public.  Mr. O’Neal reviewed the total revenues and expenditures. 

Mr. O’Neal opened the floor for questions from the public.

Mr. Grantham requested that Mr. O’Neal explain how some funds are designated.  Mr. O’Neal provided the public an explanation.  No further questions were asked.

It was moved by Mr. White, seconded by Mr. Raven and carried to adjourn at 5:40 p.m.
