PROCEEDINGS OF THE SCHOOL BOARD OF THE PARISH OF CONCORDIA, STATE OF LOUISIANA, TAKEN AT A SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 2013.

The School Board of the Parish of Concordia, State of Louisiana, met in Special Session at the Concordia Parish School Board office in Vidalia, Louisiana, on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at 6:00 P.M.  The meeting was called to order by Mr. Gary Parnham, who after prayer and the Pledge, declared that the Board was ready for the transaction of business.

Members present were Mr. Gary Parnham, Sr., Mr. Fred T. Butcher, Mr. Charles Minor, Ms. Cheryl Probst, Mr. Jeffery Goodman and Mr. Warren Enterkin.

Members absent were Ms. Darlene Baker, Ms. Mary Campbell, and Mr. Raymond Riley.

Presentations were given by Mr. Marion Chaney and Mr. Mike Wynn of Barron, Heinberg & Brocato, concerning the construction of the new Ferriday Junior High School Gym.

It was moved by Mr. Butcher, seconded by Mr. Minor and carried to award the bid to the lowest bidder.

                                    Jeffery Goodman - Abstain

                                    Charles Minor - Yes

                                    Cheryl Probst - Yes

                                    Gary Parnham - Yes

It was moved by Mr. Butcher, seconded by Mr. Minor and carried unanimously to adjourn at 6:20 p.m.
