PROCEEDINGS OF THE SCHOOL BOARD OF THE PARISH OF CONCORDIA, STATE OF LOUISIANA, TAKEN AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2016

The School Board of the Parish of Concordia, State of Louisiana, met in Regular Session at the Concordia Parish School Board office in Vidalia, Louisiana, on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Mrs. Cheryl Probst who after prayer and the pledge, declared that the Board was ready for the transaction of business.

Members present were Mr. Warren Enterkin, Ms. Mary Campbell, Mr. Fred T. Butcher, Mr. Ronnie Bradford, Ms. Cheryl Probst, Mr. John Bostic, Mr. Jeffery Goodman and Mr. Ricky Raven.

Member absent was Mr. Raymond Riley, Sr.

Committee reports were provided by each committee chairperson.

It was moved by Mr. Bradford, seconded by Mr. Butcher and carried unanimously to approve the minutes of May 19, 2016.

It was moved by Mr. Butcher, seconded by Mr. Bostic and carried unanimously to approve invoices in the amount of $3,543,677.

After Mrs. Dangerfield announced the invoices and financial report for the month of May, Mr. Butcher thanked Mrs. Dangerfield for all of her hard work and services rendered for the last forty-two years.

It was moved by Mr. Bradford, seconded by Mr. Bostic and carried unanimously to approve the FY 2015-16 Consolidated Budget Revision.

It was moved by Mr. Butcher, seconded by Ms. Campbell and carried unanimously to approve the First Reading of Policy JCDAE – “Electronic Devices”.

It was moved by Mr. Butcher, seconded by Mr. Raven and carried unanimously to approve the Concordia Sentinel as the board’s official journal.
