ENTRANCE AGE

The Concordia Parish School Board shall require children entering kindergarten at the beginning of the school session for the first time to be at least five (5) years of age on or before September 30 of the calendar year in which the school year begins.  For students entering first grade for the first time at the beginning of the school session, they shall be six (6) years on or before September 30 of the calendar year in which the school year begins.  The only exception to the above requirement shall be those students who resided out of the parish and have transferred to this system from an approved public or private school.
