STUDENT USE OF PERSONAL VEHICLES
The Concordia Parish School Board shall require any student who uses his/her personal vehicle for transportation to and from school to register the vehicle with the principal of the school the student attends. The School Board discourages the use of personal vehicles, therefore neither the Board nor the school shall be responsible for any theft or damages incurred while parked on the campus. If damages do occur, parents should take the matter up with the proper authorities.
Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and other vehicles driven to school must be parked in a designated area and left unoccupied until school is dismissed. If it becomes necessary to leave school during the day, proper permission must be obtained to move the vehicle. At no time, shall a student be permitted to arrive or leave school accompanied by other school children, except by proper permission. Students are not to visit other schools to pick up students or visit with them unless permission is granted.
Students are expected to approach and leave through the proper entrances and exits at a slow, safe speed. Sliding stops and spinning starts are not safe and will not be tolerated. Cars and other vehicles are not to be loaned to other students or molested by other students. Students who violate these policies are subject to disciplinary action as deemed necessary by the principal.
